Artwork Submission Guidelines
So you’ve got a great design and you want us to put it onto something wearable? Well hold on there, we want to make sure that the screen print or embroidered image is as crisp as possible, so we’ve put together a few guidelines that will help make your designs really stand out.
The following file formats are pretty standard for the industry:
- Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
- Adobe Photoshop (.psd)
- Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
- Encapsulated Post Script (.eps)
- Corel Draw (.cdr)
- Tagged Image Format (.tif)
- JPEG (.jpg) and GIF (.gif)
All images should be at least 300 dpi though 600 looks best for rasterized images.
You should make your images no wider than 10″ wide and 12″ tall.
While we have created designs from the back of a napkin, it would really help us if you could scan your masterpiece and save it in one of the formats listed above.
If you are working with vectors (images made from smooth curves and lines as apposed to those little pixel thingies), please convert everything in your design to curves as we may not have the exact font you were working with and converting your design to curves ensures that the design will look the same for us as it does for you.
We suggest against using images from websites as they are usually too low of a resolution to look good on a printed garment.
If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to ask.
